Design Challenges

One of the main challenges was developing a complete bodykit that mounts without removing any factory body panels, requiring millimetric precision to ensure durability, protection, and perfect fitment. Particular attention was given to correcting the A-Class rear-end visual imbalance, where the perceived mass sat too high, demanding a redesign that rebalances the silhouette and strengthens the overall stance. The surfaces were carefully shaped to follow the natural flow of the vehicle, eliminating the typical aftermarket “add-on” effect while delivering a result that feels aggressive yet controlled, enhancing road presence without exaggerated volumes.

Design & Engineering Process

The project started with a full 3D scan of the vehicle to capture its true geometry and guarantee accurate alignment throughout the entire workflow. Surface development and proportion refinement were carried out using Autodesk Alias and Blender, with a strong focus on surface continuity, production logic, and real-world constraints. Final visualization and lighting were executed in Unreal Engine, allowing precise control over reflections, volumes, and stance to validate the design before moving into fabrication.
